The journey of the Erasmus+ project BadgeTour on microcredentialing for the hospitality industry has begun! Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the kick-off meeting was held online on February 17 2022.

Training 2000 is the project coordinator and will work side by side with OULUN AMMATTIKORKEAKOULU OY (Finland), SBTC DANISMANLIK (Turkey), Mindshift Talent Advisory lda (Portugal), INSTITUTO PARA EL FOMENTO DEL DESARROLLO Y LA FORMACION SL (Spain) and SUPSI (Switzerland).

After a brief introduction on the objectives, target groups and outcomes envisaged by the project, the partners have discussed and agreed on different organisational aspects. The aim is the creation of an online course based on open badges which will be designed to validate the competences  of VET trainers and managers in the tourism sector across Europe.
