Successful Industry 4.0 Companies in Italy: Insights from the Third Ready4i5 Project Transnational Meeting

On June 18-19, 2024, the final meeting of the Ready4I5 project took place in Senigallia, Italy. Six representatives from all partner organizations—Voco Collage, Training2000, and the project coordinator Innowacja Edukacja—participated in this event.

Time was running out before the project ended, so we focused on finalizing key activities and results. We discussed our main project output, the Compendium, which includes theoretical backgrounds, national case studies, and a comparative summary. This Compendium, featuring 45 good practices and company interviews, will be available in English, Italian, Polish, and Estonian on our website and Facebook page. It serves as a guideline for companies transitioning to Industry 4.0, detailing new policies, initiatives, and methods.

In the afternoon, Training2000 organized a visit to the organic pasta factory, Cooperative Girolomoni, where partners observed its nearly fully automated supply chain. This cooperative is advancing towards Industry 4.0 to enhance its production process. On June 19, we visited I-Labs in Jesi, a key research and training hub for Industry 4.0 in the Marche region. Here, we learned about advanced production robots that collaborate safely with humans.

Later, we discussed dissemination activities and planned multiplier events in each partner country, engaging Industry 4.0 experts, managers, and entrepreneurs. The coordinator also addressed financial aspects, ensuring any issues were resolved before the project concluded.
