On March 17, 2025, the Memoteca Library in Fano hosted the second session of My Voice – Democracy Café, an interactive forum designed to engage young adults aged 18 to 30 in discussions on democratic participation. As part of the European initiative FUTU4U, the event brought together students, educators, and youth workers, fostering a platform for meaningful dialogue and the exchange of ideas on active citizenship.
Institutional Opening and Key Contributions
The event commenced with a welcome address by Roberta Galdenzi, Director of the Territorial Social Area, who underlined the importance of youth engagement in decision-making processes and governance.
The program featured several key sessions, including:
- A presentation of the FUTU4U project, highlighting its mission to amplify the voices of young people in European democracy.
- A keynote address by Dr. Carolina Tenti (Vicolocorto), who introduced participants to the opportunities available through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and European exchange programs designed for young people.
A Forum for Engagement and Critical Reflection
Participants took part in interactive activities and roundtable discussions, providing them with the opportunity to:

✔ Strengthen critical thinking skills and acquire tools for civic engagement.
✔ Exchange experiences and perspectives in an inclusive and constructive environment.
