GOL – ITALY’S EMPLOYABILITY GUARANTEE FOR WORKERS PROGRAMME

Italy’s Employability Guarantee for Workers Programme (GOL), financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP), Mission 5 “Inclusion and Cohesion”, Component 1 “Labour Policies”, Reform 1.1 “Active Labour Policies and Training”,  provides training paths for the reform of the SYSTEM OF ACTIVE LABOUR POLICIES AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING in order to improve people’s employability, the country’s competitiveness, social resilience and national productive capacity.

TRAINING PATHS

• Upskilling: Short-term training (up to 150h) for individuals in need of acquiring more skills.
• Reskilling: Long-term training (up to 600h) for individuals who need to re-enter the labour market.
