Educhampions: Multiplier Event at San Benedetto del Tronto
On August 6, 2024, we had the pleasure of visiting the Lella 2001 cooperative to present our Educhampions project to educators, trainers, and training experts. They were eager to gather insights and advice on how to innovate their teaching methodologies to ensure inclusivity for all and to develop active learning approaches supported by digital technology.
The recent event organized by Training 2000 proved to be an engaging and enlightening experience for all participants. From the outset, attendees were greeted warmly and guided through a seamless registration process, setting a friendly and welcoming tone for the proceedings.
The event commenced with a comprehensive overview of the EduChampions project, during which Training 2000 outlined its primary objectives and the overall aims of the gathering. This introduction laid the foundation for a deeper understanding of the project’s significance and its implications for the field of education.
Following this, Training 2000 presented a detailed overview of the EduChampions project. Participants learned about the project’s main objectives, key results, and the various activities that had been undertaken, alongside the partnerships that were crucial to its success. This thorough presentation equipped attendees with the necessary knowledge to fully engage in subsequent sessions.
The program then moved into interactive activities, where participants took part in ice-breaking exercises designed to foster connections and collaboration. This segued into a collective brainstorming session focused on innovative teaching methodologies, digital education practices, and the concept of edupreneurship. Such activities were intended to inspire creativity and dialogue among attendees.
A significant highlight of the event was the exploration of the EduChampions interactive platform. Participants engaged with a range of content, including interactive infographics and video interviews of the edupreneurs that showcased the project’s findings and innovative approaches. Additionally, the Educhampions learning stations were available, offering hands-on experiences with the project’s resources. Training 2000 also introduced the Educhampions training toolkit aimed at educators, which facilitated the application of the concepts discussed throughout the event.
Practical exercises played a crucial role in the program. A workshop on the EduChampions platform allowed participants to delve deeper into its various resources, while a case study practicum provided an opportunity to apply learned methodologies through specific case studies outlined in the EduChampions learning units.
As the event drew to a close, a group discussion was held, providing a platform for participants to share their experiences and insights gained throughout the day. This culminated in a summary of key takeaways, leading to a discussion on prospective next steps and future collaborations.
Overall, this event was designed to foster an engaging and collaborative environment, enhancing participants’ understanding of innovative teaching strategies and empowering them to implement these practices in their own educational contexts.
