The project contributes to the promotion of environmental training programmes to support companies, especially logistics companies, to become sustainable. The main objective of the project is to implement an innovative vocational training system to acquire basic environmental sustainability skills in logistics, in line with the current inclination of the EU labour market towards smart and green jobs. The project plans to improve the quality of training of professionals in green logistics management through flexible and innovative learning and the design of competence-based learning pathways. The training results will give the Green Logistics Manager an overview of his/her role in the logistics industry, enable him/her to identify green issues to be addressed and make him/her aware of how/when to update his/her knowledge.
