InnoGreen Project Concludes with Emphasis on Sustainable Business Practices
The InnoGreen project has successfully completed its innovative initiative aimed at promoting a sustainable economy and green business practices.
On October 2-3, representatives from Austria, Portugal, Malta, Greece, Italy, and Poland convened in Galati(Romani), hosted by the UDJG partner, while SUPSI University from Switzerland joined remotely. This gathering provided a platform for partners to assess the progress and achievements of the project, as well as to outline future initiatives that encourage an innovative and environmentally conscious entrepreneurial mindset. The project coordinator presented an overview of the project’s work packages, highlighting results and identifying potential areas for improvement.
The primary aim of the recent meeting was to evaluate the project’s final outcomes, now accessible through the InnoGreen website. Discussions highlighted the vital importance of advancing green businesses and sustainable practices that can significantly contribute to social, economic, and environmental development within communities.
Key outcomes of the project include:
– Good Practice Guide (R3): This comprehensive resource distills the experiences of successful green businesses operated by SMEs across partner countries, including Romania, Poland, Greece, Malta, Portugal, Switzerland, and Austria. It serves to educate adult educators in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs themselves, offering practical examples and insights to help both newcomers and established businesses adopt greener practices.
– Green Business Innovation Canvas (GBIC) (R4): A strategic adaptation of the traditional Business Model Canvas, the GBIC aids organizations in developing sustainable business models. It emphasizes integrating environmental, social, and financial dimensions to foster green practices across every aspect of business operations.
– E-Learning Platform (R6): Available in seven languages, this free and accessible platform includes essential resources for aspiring green entrepreneurs. It features five modules filled with videos, PDFs, quizzes, and case studies designed to enhance knowledge and skills in the green economy.
– Guidelines and Pedagogical Methods (R10): This resource focuses on cultivating creativity and innovation among adult educators, equipping them with practical teaching techniques to inspire entrepreneurial thinking and the implementation of green practices.
The final testing report, which will consolidate partner feedback from national testing activities, and the final dissemination report, are set to be completed in the coming weeks.
As the meeting drew to a close, participants took a moment to celebrate their collective achievements and express gratitude to their dedicated partners. Together, they are forging a path toward a more sustainable future.
