Leonardo da Vinci Multilateral Project– Transfer of innovation – Year 2010 -2012

.: Places2b

. Due to fast globalization and the possibility to get to every place in the world in less time, people want to have authentic and personalized experiences while spending their free time. The Places2b project enhances the preservation and promotion of landscape and culture for developing sustainable touristic structures for European regions and embedded local areas. This can be a chance for supporting the diversification of regional economies. The project will start a participatory process between local stakeholders and local community groups on the development of sustainable touristic structures and writing a local/regional touristic guide. Places2b intends to encourage a dialogue about touristic development on a regional level as well as sharing experiences on a European level of how to involve local inhabitants, decision makers & enterprises in the above described processes.

.: BOIT - Burnout Intervention Training for Managers and team Leaders

. This project faces up with a specific mental health syndrome characterized by emotional, mental and physical exhaustion: burnout . The aim is not (only) to prevent working situations that promote burnout but rather to be able to detect burnout among staff early and to define strategies to intercept the burnout progress in companies as it is a phenomenon which does not appear all of a sudden but develops slowly and gradually. The project team will therefore develop and test a training programme called "burnout intervention training for managers and team leaders”.

Grundtvig Multilateral Networks– Year 2009-2012

.: Career Plan 50+: Career plan for employees over 50 years

. A lot of European researches in last few years have shown that there is already lack of appropriate competencies at work due to globalization and rapidly changing market. Due to predictions the conditions are getting more and more critical. The owners of these work competencies are many times elder employees regardless of their education level and job position. In the future labour resources will age rapidly and the market will face a labour shortage. On the other hand there is also in this time a lot of older manpower (50+) available on the employment market, but they continue to be unemployed because of lack of proper education, training or skills. Companies in general know which competencies they need to remain competitive in the market and where inside the company employees with knowledge are to be found. Challenge arises when employees who possess knowledge start to leave the enterprise and the company loses them and their strategic knowledge and skills that are hard to replace and consequently threaten market position of the company. Career Plan 50+ offers possible solutions to the above mentioned issues and brings together both parties: employers and labour force. The project partners will develop and pilot an efficient communication and motivational tool to be used within the companies in newly designed training to acquire certain (soft) skills and competencies necessary for performing the job of Career Coach 50+.

Leonardo da Vinci Multilateral project – Transfer of Innovation – Year 2009-2011

.: M-ECVET-S Modular ECVET system

. In the M-ECVET-S project, there will be a transfer of methods and results from the ESO-CERT project which was entitled “Using the method of standardized competence verification and certification in a credit point system for vocational training – an approach for the integration of the ECVET”. This transfer project shall advance and enhance the ECVET-based method for the assessment of professional competencies that has been developed in the EU-project ESO-CERT in order to make this method applicable on a European-wide basis. It is not relevant how the competencies that are assessed have been acquired. This means that learning outcomes from formal, non-formal and informal learning are merged. The enhanced method intends to assess modular training units that shall lead to complex action-oriented competencies. Since this kind of assessment also considers competencies that have been acquired at the work-place, it leads to a greater transparency concerning the acceptance of these competencies by the industry. This enhances the employees' company-wide mobility.

Activities will include recording memories, communicating traditional skills, developing creative approaches to encourage greater environmental awareness, developing a public trail, exploring attitudes that prevent educational development amongst women and creating a company to imagine, devise, rehearse and prepare a public theatrical presentation in which all the partners will share.

.: BUM BUM, Adolescence is here!

. Parenting is the most important and challenging role that is undertaken by most adults. However the skill of parenthood is not acquired automatically once a couple becomes a mother and a father. Parents need all the assistance available from society particularly from adult education institutions. It is envisaged that through this partnership parents acquire a deeper understanding of their situation, as parents of adolescents and feel empowered that through their capabilities they are able to take action.

The partnership will study the nature of family processes, including reciprocal socialisation, and the family as a system, the developmental construction of relationships, maturation of the adolescent and the maturation of the parents, socio-cultural, historical changes and the family life cycle. They will also analyse parenting techniques and parent-adolescent conflict, autonomy, and attachment in adolescence.

The partnership will aim to develop a model that could contribute to create and strengthen the cooperative relationships between adults and adolescents, that will be used as a model for democratic living and training ground for democratic leadership.
